Well, it looks like the “buy the dippers” are back in action. The Nasdaq turned positive for 2020 today, while the S&P 500 and Russell 2000 Index both finished higher by more than 1%.
It’s a wacky market environment for sure… one of the craziest I’ve witnessed in my career.
Of course, some traders are still struggling now and to help as many traders out as possible — I wanted to tackle one topic readers have been hounding me about: books I believe all traders should read, whether they’re just starting out or veterans of the game.
For me personally, I believe they played a big role in uncovering my edge in the market.
For example, The Disciplined Trader: Developing Winning Attitudes as well as, Trading in the Zone — both by Mark Douglas — helped me develop the mindset of an elite trader.
By learning how to think like a trader, I’m able to remain patient and only focus on my best setups, which I believe are in momentum stocks and options spreads.
Of course, those aren’t the only books that I read that have helped me in my trading journey.
