So long as you make 30 trades per quarter it’s free and E*TRADE is always running promotions to get people to sign up so it’s a 2 for 1 if you ask me.

A buy = 1 and a sell = 1 so it’s really only 15 trades.

It won’t come free when you open an account, so you’ll need to call and request it.

If you intend to trade 30 times a quarter, let them know that and I’m guessing they’ll give you the first quarter for free on good faith.

If you don’t make the trades then they’ll start charging your $99 a month.

I know guys that don’t even use E*TRADE but they pay the $99 per month just to use the tool, that’s how good it is.
