Intended to invite good luck on all future trades, I broke an EXPENSIVE sacrificial bottle of champagne (SD -30% -$5,000) over the bow as the ship, Jason Bond Picks Winning Small Cap Long Term Trades, officially set sail.

I’ll do a video lesson on the SD trade detailing how I should have stopped the loss much sooner and how I plan to apply the lesson to future trades.

I’m long LQMT and AUY in the portfolio, half size on both and believe there’s a good chance these will produce my first 30-50% wins.

Let’s breakdown the master watch list and then discuss a few ideas for this week.

AKS, ANGI, GLUU, ZNGA – Best of breed. These stocks are trading in bullish continuation patterns right now so we’ll scout for an entry on pullbacks.

BTU, SD, SONS – Best of breed. These stocks are trading in bearish continuation patterns right now so we’ll scout for an entry soon.

I’d like to carry up to 5 positions at a time so here’s what I’m looking at this week.

SONS – Best of breed. Coming out of oversold, lots of cash and no debt so they should be able to turn these hard times around. A move back into the gap could deliver a nice 30 – 50% return. I’m looking for entry above $7.50, stop loss below $7.50, currently $7.71.

GEVO – Story stock. Split behind, Plug Power CEO on the board, good earnings and offering all behind the stock, looking for entry on a pullback into oversold could deliver a juicy return. It’s hard to know where shares will settle in the coming days but I’ll be watching all week for something in the $2’s. Shares recently doubled after a deal with Alaska Airlines and I believe that’s only the start of this uptrend.
