Right now my alert of YHOO is going well up $.40 per share on rumors of a buyout which appear to be strengthening. Goal for me is $15 or about $1.50 per share. A buyout will probably only produce $2 per share but I’m not positive on that. Gotta be quick to news that a buyout is off cause I’d expect a drop below $13 if that happened.
COOL above $2 is still in play. Should have cashed in for $600 yesterday at $2.20 on the Seeking Alpha article pump but I decided to let it run. These markets make it hard to speculate swing trade so day trading and scalp trading is what I’ll be focused on until we start to see the broader market charts, which are currently wrecked, shape up. Goal remains $1 per share on COOL. If $2 breaks hard, $1.60 is next support and I’ll certainly short it on the way down if that happens.
Alerted a swing on JVA yesterday at $7.53 when the market appeared to be reversing and well, it didn’t reverse as well know. This is why I only took a small position, 1k shares and will limit loss today if the market turns down and JVA is selling with it. I think JVA is ready to turn off the $8 range but now $7 appears to be support. After that $6 is up and no way in heck am I riding it down there. I’ll sell and buy back later when the market is ready to be bullish again. Futures are down but I think Ben will give buyers a reason to come back in today.
