I’ll get right to the point…protests like Occupy Wall Street are a complete joke and the perfect example of why “They are the 99%” and will continue to lose at life. I believe in total financial self-reliance. This “entitlement” mentality creates weak and financially needy people and is quite possibly the primary reason for the disparity.
If these lazy individuals (Sorry but that’s what they are) spent half the time they’re wasting on these protests creating businesses the world would be a better place and they probably wouldn’t be crying about capitalism but instead building a house in Aspen.
Jokers like this are precisely the type of people I couldn’t stand in public education and one of the primary reasons I left my teaching career to pursue business.
In education everyone gets paid the same salary despite a clear difference in teaching abilities and work ethic. Unions protect the weak teachers and as a result students suffer. The public education system is almost the perfect example of the “entitlement” mentality.
For anyone who has been living under a rock, Occupy Wall Street is a worldwide movement of protests focused on social and economic inequality, high unemployment, greed, as well as corruption, and the undue influence of corporations—particularly of the financial services sector—on government. The protesters’ slogan We are the 99% refers to the growing difference in wealth in the U.S. between the wealthiest 1% and the rest of the population.
So here is my advice for you lost and confused characters camping out in the cold protesting something you probably don’t even understand. Pack up your tent and go home. Cream will always rise to the top, sharks will always eat smaller fish and capitalism will always empower those willing to take risks. Spend your time trying to create a businesses like Google, Facebook or Amazon and help the world by creating jobs.
I think Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki sums it up best… “The poor and the middle class work for money.” “The rich have money work for them.” This is not rocket science people…if life hands you lemons make Gatorade and get rich. Otherwise quit complaining and move to a country that supports socialism.

There is no world without the 99%. Most of the 99% work (except the unemployed) and pay taxes. The 1% have not paid for their bailout, the 99% have. The 99% are not hard working…?
My issue with the OWS ppl is not that they aren’t hardworking, it’s that they’re pretty stupid when it comes to economics. They have no idea how jobs are created, how wealth is gained, and the market operates. They just have a lot of emotions, and they didn’t even have ANY demands!!
We need an economy based on free markets and capitalism and sound money backed by real assets (~ gold standard), not the crony corporatism and socialism for the politically well-connected wealthy that we currently have.
Im a little late to this particular post but I still want to weigh in. Judging by the 3 responses so far Id say we have some sympathizers of the 99% in the blogosphere. Thats predictable since most who blog are young. (feel free to substitute naive if you wish). Here are a few facts. Dont take my word for any of them. Look it up your self. 50% of eligible tax payers pay zero federal income tax. Its true. And Jason is 100% right when he says that todays entitlement society is weakening our country. People are lining up for free handouts these days because its EASY TO GET. It wasnt always like this in our country. I would be totally ashamed to take a handout from Uncle Sam. Now its nothing at all to go down to WalMart and buy all your food with food stamps. Why do people do this? They say its because they cannot find work.. Well, thats true and not true at the same time. They cannot find work that pays the same as their parents! Young people feel they should start at the middle or even top of the pay scale today. Sorry dude,,, that aint gonna help you when you are looking for a job. So, what do they do? They whine and complain about how unfair the USA is and how we need reform. We need reform alright. Everyone under the age of 45 needs reformed because most of them are a bunch of lazy tards.
Ok… make that 35. My apology. But the fact remains that there are jobs out there that go begging. I am looking at my paper right now and I see several hundred if not several thousand. True, they may not pay 100,000.00 per year. But living on food stamps doesnt pay 100K either. Like I said, they are lazy and its easier to sit on the couch and play xbox and live on 20K of food stamps than to take a job that pays 28K and cuts into your xbox time.
Hell yea Jason!!! Thats what Im talking about.. and yes that is exactly why America is crumbling like it is (aside from Obama) but we wouldn’t even have to worry about Obama taking care of everyone if people werent so reliant on other people for everything. No one wants to grab life by the balls and go for it and do what they have to do to accomplish things.
Also that is one of my favorite concepts of making the money work for you.. Ive done it my whole life and will continue living like that and Im 19.. im living proof theres no age limit on success.
It would be better if the blog topics focused on trading stocks. After all, this is what people pay their subscriptions to read about. I know I don’t have to read your posts on the “Occupy Wall Street” movement or “The Best Article I Read Today And Why I Walked Out On Public Education” but I did and I’d rather not be thought of as someone’s platform for personal ideas and views that have no more merit than the counter ideas and views of other intelligent people. I agree with many of your ideas but not all of them and pushing one social or political view point is a recipe for alienating at least some of your subscribers. A case in point are those of us who live in democratic countries who embrace capitalism but for whom “socialist” and socialist style policies are not dirty words but rather an acknowledgement by our societies to try to be more accepting, inclusive and compassionate towards the most disadvantaged members in our societies.
USA occupy is a joke in the USA! Almost everyone in the u.s. is the 1 % to the world you dumb asses!
In the world veiw almost everyone in the U.S. is part of the 1 % so just stop the dumb protests.
